Discover what’s happening inside your gut—down to the strain level.

Your gut microbiome is a complex community that can influence digestion, nutrition and overall wellness. The GutIDĀ® Core Gut Insight Test analyzes a single stool sample to provide a detailed, high-resolution view of your unique gut microbiome.

What This Test Explores

  • Microbiome diversity, richness, evenness and resilience
  • Beneficial bacteria and potentially harmful microorganisms
  • Microbial patterns associated with inflammation risk
  • Antibiotic resistome—genes associated with resistance to antibiotics
  • Gut mucosa and intestinal barrier function
  • Nutrient and dietary-component metabolism
  • Patterns that may be relevant when discussing digestive concerns such as IBS, SIBO and IBD with a qualified healthcare professional

Personalized to Your Microbiome

Your report translates complex microbiome data into practical, personalized insights, including:

  • Foods that may better support your unique microbiome
  • Customized nutritional and supplement recommendations
  • Personalized prebiotic and probiotic guidance
  • Actionable strategies to support microbial balance and digestive wellness

Advanced Strain-Level Technology

Powered by Intus Biosciences’ patented Titan‑1ā„¢ sequencing platform and advanced AI-supported analysis, GutID identifies bacteria down to the strain level—providing deeper resolution than conventional microbiome testing.

TEST PREPARATION

No fasting or special diet is required. Continue your usual diet and routine before collecting your sample.

Do not stop or change antibiotics, probiotics, medications or supplements solely for this test unless directed by your healthcare provider. If you are currently taking antibiotics, complete the treatment as prescribed. When evaluating your microbiome after antibiotics, waiting approximately 2–4 weeks after your final dose may provide a more representative post-treatment sample.

Activate your kit before collecting the sample and carefully follow the enclosed instructions. Keep the stool sample free from urine and toilet water.

After collection, no refrigeration is required. Return the sample using the prepaid shipping envelope provided.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

Core Gut Insights analyzes bacterial DNA and relative abundance within a single stool sample. It provides wellness and educational insights and is not a diagnostic test. It does not independently diagnose IBS, SIBO, IBD, intestinal infection, food intolerance, or impaired intestinal permeability. Microbiome composition can change over time, and dietary or supplement recommendations should not replace professional medical advice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Crisis Box Direct Lab provides administrative access to laboratory testing and educational information. Crisis Box Direct Lab is not a clinical laboratory and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, result interpretation, or emergency medical services.

When required, an independent licensed healthcare provider may authorize the laboratory order through Evexia Diagnostics. This authorization is limited to facilitating the laboratory order and does not constitute a medical consultation or establish ongoing medical care.

Testing is performed by the independent laboratory identified on the requisition and final report. Laboratory results must be interpreted together with your symptoms, medical history, medications, and other relevant clinical information. An abnormal result does not independently establish a diagnosis, and a result within the reference range does not exclude a medical condition.

Do not begin, discontinue, or change any medication, supplement, diet, or treatment based solely on these results. Discuss results and health concerns with a qualified healthcare provider. This service should not be used for emergencies or urgent symptoms.
