The Female Hormone Panel evaluates six key hormonal markers to provide a broader view of female hormonal balance, ovarian function and reproductive health.

What’s Included

  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH): Evaluates the hormonal signal involved in ovulation and ovarian hormone production.
  • Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH): Provides insight into ovarian function, follicle development and menstrual cycle regulation.
  • Estradiol (E2): Measures the primary form of estrogen involved in reproductive health and hormonal balance.
  • Progesterone: Helps assess ovulation and hormonal balance throughout the menstrual cycle.
  • DHEA-S: Measures an adrenal hormone involved in androgen and sex-hormone production.
  • Total and Free Testosterone: Evaluates overall testosterone levels and the unbound testosterone available for use by the body.

Together, these markers offer valuable insight into female hormonal wellness and may help guide personalized conversations about menstrual changes, fertility, energy, mood and the menopausal transition.

TEST PREPARATION

Fasting is not required unless otherwise instructed. For consistent hormone measurements, morning collection between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. is recommended whenever possible.

Hormone levels naturally change throughout the menstrual cycle. If you menstruate, record the first day of your last menstrual period and the cycle day on which your sample is collected. Follow any cycle-day instructions provided by your healthcare provider, particularly when testing for fertility or ovulation.

Labcorp recommends avoiding biotin supplements, including hair, skin and nail products, for at least 72 hours before testing. If biotin has been prescribed, consult your healthcare provider before stopping it.

Do not stop birth control, hormone therapy, fertility medications, DHEA or other medications and supplements unless directed by your healthcare provider.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Crisis Box Direct Lab provides administrative access to laboratory testing and educational information. Crisis Box Direct Lab is not a clinical laboratory and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, result interpretation, or emergency medical services.

When required, an independent licensed healthcare provider may authorize the laboratory order through Evexia Diagnostics. This authorization is limited to facilitating the laboratory order and does not constitute a medical consultation or establish ongoing medical care.

Testing is performed by the independent laboratory identified on the requisition and final report. Laboratory results must be interpreted together with your symptoms, medical history, medications, and other relevant clinical information. An abnormal result does not independently establish a diagnosis, and a result within the reference range does not exclude a medical condition.

Do not begin, discontinue, or change any medication, supplement, diet, or treatment based solely on these results. Discuss results and health concerns with a qualified healthcare provider. This service should not be used for emergencies or urgent symptoms.
