The Male Hormone Panel combines five targeted tests to provide a broader view of male hormonal balance, testosterone production, reproductive signaling and prostate health.

What’s Included

  • Total and Free Testosterone: Measures overall testosterone levels and the unbound testosterone available for use by the body.
  • PSA with Free-to-Total Ratio: Assesses the relationship between free and total prostate-specific antigen to provide insight into prostate health.
  • Estradiol (E2): Evaluates estrogen levels and their balance with testosterone.
  • DHEA-S: Measures an adrenal hormone involved in androgen and testosterone production.
  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH): Evaluates the pituitary signal that stimulates testosterone production in the testes.

Together, these markers offer valuable insight into male hormonal wellness and may help guide more personalized conversations about energy, libido, mood, physical performance and healthy aging.

TEST PREPARATION

Fasting is not required unless otherwise instructed. For the most consistent testosterone measurement, schedule your blood draw between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. whenever possible.

Avoid ejaculation and vigorous exercise, especially cycling, for 48 hours before collection, as these activities may temporarily affect PSA levels.

Labcorp recommends avoiding biotin supplements, including hair, skin and nail products, for at least 72 hours before testing. If biotin has been prescribed, consult your healthcare provider before stopping it.

Do not stop medications, supplements or hormone therapy unless directed by your healthcare provider. Follow any specific timing instructions if you currently use testosterone or DHEA, and disclose any recent prostate infection, procedure or treatment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Crisis Box Direct Lab provides administrative access to laboratory testing and educational information. Crisis Box Direct Lab is not a clinical laboratory and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, result interpretation, or emergency medical services.

When required, an independent licensed healthcare provider may authorize the laboratory order through Evexia Diagnostics. This authorization is limited to facilitating the laboratory order and does not constitute a medical consultation or establish ongoing medical care.

Testing is performed by the independent laboratory identified on the requisition and final report. Laboratory results must be interpreted together with your symptoms, medical history, medications, and other relevant clinical information. An abnormal result does not independently establish a diagnosis, and a result within the reference range does not exclude a medical condition.

Do not begin, discontinue, or change any medication, supplement, diet, or treatment based solely on these results. Discuss results and health concerns with a qualified healthcare provider. This service should not be used for emergencies or urgent symptoms.
